Anahata Reiki and Wellness

Anahata means "unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten".

Welcome to Anahata Reiki and Wellness. My name is Krista, I am a traditional Usui Reiki Master / Teacher. I’m also a Registered Nurse and have been working in Scottsdale for the past six years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While there are aspects of traditional western medicine that I respect and appreciate, my experience with my patients has shown me that traditional medicine is lacking in holistic care. The mind/body/soul connection is overlooked. I have found that reiki fills in this crucial gap. I’ve been using Reiki on my patients for years with much success in pain relief and reduction of anxiety and stress related to hospitalization. My passion is helping people reach their health and wellness goals.

The heart chakra, 4th chakra, is named Anahata. It is associated with love and compassion. I chose this name because I have a very compassionate nature, and try to live with my heart wide open. There are 7 chakras (energy centers) inside the body. They are the basis of the energetic structure of the human being and run from the top of the head to the base of the spine. Reiki is a Japanese word formed from “rei” which means universal life, and “ki” which means energy. It is a hands-on healing technique wherein the practitioner channels universal life force energy to activate the natural healing processes of the client’s body, restoring physical and emotional well being. It can also assist in unblocking the chakras.

We are all created from various speeds and depths of energy vibrating at different levels (Quantum physics). Each chakra vibrates at its own frequency and can be affected by light, color, and sound. When we are living in a low vibrational state (depression, illness), our health suffers. When we vibrate at higher frequencies (strong body/mind/soul connection) our health is optimal. When chakras are out of balance, our endocrine system becomes out of balance, resulting in our emotional imbalance. Reiki energy can create change on the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual levels. It’s been scientifically proven and has measured with success.

We’re now living in uncharted waters that seem to change daily, and I feel that reiki is needed now more than ever to keep us grounded. At Anahata Reiki and Wellness, my vision is to share my reiki knowledge and healing energy.

Sending you love and light,

Krista

What Reiki can do for you:

I’ve been getting a few questions in regards to what Reiki actually is, and what it treats. Today, I want to give you some ideas of what it can help with based on experiences I have had myself and with clients:

✨ Anxiety/Depression
✨ Self Confidence
✨ Grounding
✨ Rebalancing
✨ Restoring and producing energy
✨ Aiding grief
✨ Aiding forgiveness (self and others)
✨ Releasing anger in a positive way
✨ Pain Relief
✨ Arthritis
✨ Stress
✨ Sleep Disturbances
✨ Emotional Healing
✨ Clarity and focus
✨ Calming the mind before tests, procedures etc.

I’m sure there are plenty of other ways it can and will help you, but these are some of the FIRST HAND results in have find through self practice, working with a reiki master and working on my own patients.
If you would like to understand more about reiki, there are plenty of resources I can suggest, and am more than happy to offer a free trial session so you can experience the healing magic for yourself.

“Your real self may be hiding somewhere, look for it within, when you find yourself, you can freely be what you want to be.”

During this time, we are forced to lock ourselves in. To lock ourselves up. To lock ourselves away from the distractions of the world that usually plague our minds, create ‘busyness’, and take us away from the deeper connection of our true selves.
While it might be an incredibly frustrating period for most of us; some losing our jobs, unable to see family, and perhaps even losing loved ones; it also gives us great opportunity to reconnect with ourselves on a deeper level.

It gives us the opportunity to digest all of the thoughts, feelings and emotions we have pushed aside. To realise what we LOVE so much about our lives and what we miss. To connect with friends and family more frequently – even if it’s just a text or a call. To see the beauty of nature, and how it makes us feel when we are allowed to utilise it for our one outing per day as exercise. To calm our minds. To simplify. To clean our homes from top to bottom. To cleanse.

To detox our diets. To throw out what we no longer need. To go through photos and embrace memories of the past. To learn a new language or how to draw, maybe a new marketing technique, how to dance, a training technique, meditation, or perhaps even learn to just switch off to the things that clutter our minds, and in the end, don’t really matter. It gives us a chance to give up a bad habit, coffee, alcohol, smoking or more. It gives us a chance to embrace a more holistic way of living, to think about what we really WANT to include in our daily lives.

To set the new pace. To create a new routine, and the best part; it gives us an opportunity to reflect on our lives, consider all we have done and achieved, and set about new goals to create the best version of ourselves EVER.
While I offer my most heartfelt sympathy and empathy to those going through a tough time, I can also offer you hope that when we get through this; we will come out stronger than ever.
